New office is the connector between port and transportation
Neele-Vat 's new warehouse and office will be at a strategic location, between the Port of Rotterdam and the A15 motorway. This location typifies the company: a connector between port and transport. Neele-Vat is a large Rotterdam logistics service provider and has been a household name in the port of Rotterdam for years. The new headquarters will be built on top of the warehouse and will be surrounded by a solar panel deck of 18,000 m2 and there is room for 300 parking spaces.
(Day) light as a building block
Architect Henk de Gelder says, "The office has an elongated orientation with large areas of glass on the south and north facades. These provide plenty of light and phenomenal views. Cut from the volume are large patios that also provide daylight and an outdoor experience deep inside the office building. Here the interior flows seamlessly from inside to outside. The patios are filled in with themed greenery.'

The entire design process was driven by employee well-being. Here the well-methodology was used. In addition to light, air and (out) sight, a lot of living greenery has been applied outside the office. Large trees can easily match the large scale and robust gesture of this office building. A healthy pearl in the port of Rotterdam.
