The refrigerated transport process is designed to ensure maximum product safety - from loading moment to delivery:
- Booking and preparation
First, the customer specifies the desired temperature range (from -25°C to +25°C), loading and unloading times and product type. Based on this, Neele-Vat selects the right trailer configuration, route and schedule.
- Pre-cooling and trailer inspection
Then, before departure, Neele-Vat brings the refrigerated trailer to the right temperature. In the process, the team tests the sensors and cooling units to guarantee stable conditions.
- Loading in Spain
Then trained drivers load the goods into refrigerated environments. At the same time, the system records the temperature and seals it digitally via monitoring.
- Linehaul to the Netherlands
Subsequently, the trailers travel via fixed corridors (such as Barcelona - Lyon - Venlo - Rotterdam) with 24/7 temperature tracking. As soon as deviations occur, the control tower system detects and corrects them immediately.
- Unloading and quality control
Upon arrival in the Netherlands, Neele-Vat checks the goods for temperature stability, sealing and general condition. After that, customers receive a digital Proof of Delivery (POD) and a temperature history per shipment.
- Reporting and analysis
Data on temperature, CO₂ emissions and delivery time are stored and shared through the customer portal for quality assurance and audits.
