Transport via fixed corridors means that Neele-Vat uses planned, daily routes between the Netherlands, France and Spain. This ensures predictable lead times, optimal load factor and constant quality.
- Booking and planning
Customers book their shipment via the digital Neele-Vat customer portal. Based on volume, loading time and delivery time, the system automatically plans the most suitable corridor.
- Pick-up and consolidation
Shipments are picked up from Dutch or Belgian consignors and brought together in consolidation hubs in Rotterdam, Venlo or Antwerp.
- Cross-docking and bundling
All shipments bound for Spain are bundled by region.
- Corridor northern Spain: via Paris and San Sebastián to Bilbao.
- Corridor Central/South Spain: via Lyon and Zaragoza to Madrid and Barcelona.
- Linehaul towards Spain
The trailers leave for Spain according to fixed departure times - usually in the evening.
- Transit time to Madrid: 48-60 hours on average.
- Transit time to Barcelona: 36-48 hours on average.
- Distribution and delivery
In Spain, shipments are delivered through Neele-Vat's local partners or its own network. Deliveries can take place within agreed time windows, including eCMR and digital Proof of Delivery (POD).
- Real-time monitoring and reporting
Customers follow their shipments live via GPS track & trace. Any deviations are immediately reported by the control tower, which monitors transport movements 24/7.
