Neele-Vat Logistics permanent logistics partner Van Houtum B.V.

Van Houtum B.V. - producer of hygienic paper and leader in Corporate Social Responsibility - has entered into a multi-year contract with one of the larger independent logistics service providers in the Rotterdam region: Neele-Vat Logistics. Until May 2013, Neele-Vat Logistics will handle all transports of finished products to and from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Norway and Sweden for Van Houtum B.V. as the sole party.

The basis lies in the good experiences in recent years. By signing this agreement, the current cooperation is further intensified. Neele-Vat Logistics contributes to the policy spearhead of the Van Houtum company by integrating sustainable entrepreneurship into its business processes.

Van Houtum B.V. Van Houtum has been an independent producer of hygiene paper for 75 years and a leader in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility. With approximately 190 employees, Van Houtum produces 45,000 tons of tissue paper annually. The head office and both production sites are located in Swalmen, municipality of Roermond. Annual sales amount to €60 million. Products and services are supplied exclusively to the business-to-business market via, among others, cleaning companies and specialist wholesalers to various segments such as corporate offices, catering, recreation, hospitals, schools and industry. Under the brand name Satino Black, Van Houtum produces Cradle to Cradle Silver certified hygienic paper.
