Neele-Vat Logistics Best Managed Company 2014!

Neele-Vat Logistics has been named one of the "Best Managed Companies 2014" of Dutch medium and large companies. Deloitte and ING announced the list of 75 best-managed companies last December 4. These companies have proven to adapt innovatively to a rapidly changing world.

Deloitte is organizing the Best Managed Companies program for the eighth consecutive year and for the second time together with ING. They do this in cooperation with VNO-NCW and TIAS School for Business and Society. The winners are selected by analyzing strategy, operations, results and innovation, among other things.

Annually growing, profitable company with a solid position

"Neele-Vat Logistics is highly successful in a highly competitive industry," the jury said. "The results of Neele-Vat Logistics speak volumes and are the result of the vision and operational management of the organization. The company innovates and uses the latest ICT applications within the Transport and Logistics sector."

To encourage multimodal transport, Neele-Vat Logistics, for example - in cooperation with the Port of Rotterdam Authority - is promoting transport by rail to the hinterland. They are doing this, for example, by developing a new type of side-loading container that can be used for rail.

The jury labeled Neele-Vat Logistics as "a top company with top ICT where sustainability and safety are at the top of the agenda." The company receives the final mark of 9.

"We experience this nomination as an additional seal of quality," said CEO Ron Neele. "It confirms Neele-Vat Logistics' role as a reliable and stable partner. We see this as an important signal; both towards our customers and employees."

Festive celebration

On Jan. 23, 2015, Neele-Vat Logistics will accept its award at the Best Managed Companies event.
