Neele-Vat Logistics buys Mammoet Ferry Transport and strengthens position in European road transport

Logistics service provider Neele-Vat Logistics today reached agreement to acquire Mammoet Ferry Transport. With this acquisition Neele-Vat strengthens its position in European road transport. It also adds international branches in Belgium, Germany, Austria and UK.

The merger of these two Rotterdam companies means strengthening the European transport network for existing customers of both companies. At the same time, it strengthens the scale needed to remain competitive in tomorrow's Europe as well.

Mammoet Ferry Transport

Mammoet Ferry Transport, with 70 employees, will continue to operate under its own name within the Neele-Vat Family. Management will stay on and the acquisition will not affect employment. Director owner Krijn Torreman will also remain involved after the acquisition.

Mammoet Ferry Transport has 70 employees, offices in Rotterdam, Zeebrugge (Belgium), Duisburg (Germany), Ansfelden (Austria), Preston Brook and Cambuslang (UK). Mammoet Ferry Transport is particularly strong in transport to and from the UK. These services enhance opportunities for Neele-Vat customers.
