Holiday driving ban
Vehicles and combinations with an authorized total weight over 7.5 tons or longer than 14 meters are banned from driving on the following days:
Good Friday and days preceding a holiday: from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
the last of 2 consecutive holidays: from noon to 11 p.m.
if a public holiday or the last day of 2 consecutive public holidays falls on a Friday or Saturday, then a driving ban from noon to 11 p.m. applies on Sunday
if a holiday falls on Sunday or Monday, or if Christmas falls on Sunday and Monday or Monday and Tuesday, the driving ban will apply on the preceding Friday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
on public holidays from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Vacation ban
Vehicles and combinations with an authorized total weight over 7.5 tons or longer than 14 meters are banned from driving from June 29 to Sept. 23:
Saturday: from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sunday: from noon to 11 p.m.
The driving bans apply on the roads listed below:
No. 1: Karlovac - Slunj - Gracac - Knin - Brnaze - Krizice and Klis - Solin ring road
No. 8: Rijeka - Zadar - Split - Klek (border Bosnia-Herzegowina) - Zaton Doli (border Bosnia-Herzegowina) -Dubrovnik - Karasovic (border FRY), except the section from the junction with road 27 to exit Sibenik
