Here the analysis of volume, destination, service level and available capacity plays an important role, after which the shipment is scheduled, bundled in cross-dock locations, transported via an optimal route and delivered within agreed time windows. This process is supported by digital tools, KPI monitoring and certifications to ensure transparency, compliance and predictable performance. Want to know more? Read the full article here.
How does temperature-controlled transport work?
Temperature-controlled transport means that goods remain within a predetermined temperature range during the entire transport to guarantee quality and safety. This involves the use of refrigerated or freezer units that are preset and continuously monitored, and loading, driving and unloading are carried out according to special procedures. Real-time monitoring and tracking ensure that the set temperature is constantly maintained and recorded, which is especially important for sensitive products such as food, pharmaceutical and chemical goods.
