All transit traffic ≥3.5 tons must use highways. Transit traffic towards Germany and France with vehicles ≥7.5 tons:
From Belgium/Germany → France: Saturday or day before 21:30 - Sunday/ holiday 21:45 (also French holidays: Liberation Day, National Holiday, Armistice Day).
From Belgium/France → Germany: Saturday or day before 23:30 - Sunday/ holiday 21:45.
Exceptions and exemptions
Exceptions: Livestock, cut flowers, perishable goods (minimum 50% load), including empty trips to Germany, harvest products from harvest site to storage/processing, goods for official events, transport for press and business moves, traders at markets or fairs, rail/road combined transport ≤200 km, transport of damaged vehicles.
