Storing hazardous materials without proper precautions can be a recipe for disaster. By following regulations such as PGS15, we can create a safer environment for our people, our communities, and our planet.
The Dutch standard PGS15 provides comprehensive guidelines for the safe storage and handling of hazardous materials, including requirements for the construction and layout of storage facilities, ventilation systems, and fire protection measures. Storage & Transport
Compliance with the environmental permit requirements and PGS-15 guidelines is necessary for storage and transhipment of dangerous goods. The (tank) containers are stored on the outdoor terrain, and a limited number of vehicles are also parked there. The Gas Measuring Station on site measures sea containers for harmful gases and vapours, and fumigation of containers occurs on the outdoor area. It’s crucial to adhere to the established guidelines for hazardous substances and CMR substances.
