Road closure A29
Rotterdam, June 8th 2023
About: road closure A29
Dear relation,
We would like to inform you about a road closure in the Netherlands, that will have a big impact on road transport in the upcoming months.
Work is being carried out in June, July and August on the Haringvliet bridge and the Heinenoord tunnel on the A29 in both directions. Despite the fact that they are never clo
sed at the same time, there is one continuous closure in these months, which makes road traffic on the A29 more difficult.

The road closure affects traffic on the following roads: A15, A16, A17 and the N57, N59, N215 and N217.
At Neele-Vat we are doing everything we can to continue to provide you with the best possible service during this period, but we also ask for your understanding if services unf
ortunately run a little differently than planned. Rijkswaterstaat
advises to take into account at least 1 to 1.5 hours extra travel time.
What are direct consequences for you
Shipments to and from the South Holland islands, Zeeland and North Brabant will be delayed. Shipments going south (via the A16 to Belgium) can also be delayed.
What can you do to ensure that your shipment runs as smoothly as possible?
• Place your orders in time during this period.
• Approach us by e-mail as much as possible.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. For the most up-to-date information about the closures on the A29, please see www.rijkswaterstaat.nl/heinenoordtunnel or www.rijkswaterstaat.nl/haringvlietbrug
