Neele-Vat holds Authorized Agent status, granted following an inspection of our facilities and procedures. This allows us to certify the security of your cargo ourselves and maintain the secure cargo chain. We also assist you in applying for Known Consignor status. What the “Authorized Agent” status means for your shipment
A Regulated Agent may declare air cargo secure on its own, in accordance with established procedures and by trained personnel. Without that status, your shipment arrives as unsecured cargo and is subject to a security screening at the airport. At Neele-Vat , this security clearance takes place earlier in the process. Your cargo enters the supply chain as secure air freight and retains that status all the way to the cargo hold. If you are registered as a Known Consignor, not every shipment needs to be screened.
