Essential for smooth shipping

Correct and complete documentation is crucial to an efficient air cargo shipment. From the Air Waybill to health declarations, each document plays a key role in ensuring smooth handling and compliance with international regulations. Neele-Vat Air ensures that your documentation is processed accurately and according to applicable regulations, eliminating delays and unnecessary costs.

What documents are there?

The Air Waybill (AWB) is the most important document in air freight and serves as proof of the contract of carriage between the shipper and the airline. This document is prepared by a Regulated agent and issued by an international airline. There are three types of AWBs, each with a specific function:

  • Direct AWB: Used for shipments presented directly to the carrier by the shipper.
  • Master AWB: Manages a collection of different House AWBs within a group mission.
  • House AWB: Issued by freight forwarders to their customers and acts as proof of transport within a consolidation.

By using the right type of AWB, we ensure that your freight is processed and transported correctly.

A detailed packing list is essential for proper processing of your air cargo shipment. This document contains information about the dimensions, weights and quantities of the goods. It helps customs authorities with inspection and ensures that your cargo is correctly recorded and processed.

The Certificate of Origin (CoO) confirms the origin of your goods and is issued by authorized agencies such as the Chamber of Commerce. This document is often required to comply with the import regulations of the destination country. Neele-Vat Air can take care of this certificate for you, assuring you of proper handling.

For exports within preferential trade agreements, the EUR.1 certificate offers the possibility of reduction or exemption of import duties. This document is relevant for trade between the EU and countries with which a free trade agreement exists. An invoice declaration can sometimes be used as an alternative, provided the conditions are met. Our specialists will help you correctly complete and obtain these documents.

A health certificate is required for the import and export of phytosanitary goods, such as plants and plant products. This certificate guarantees that the goods are free of harmful organisms and meet the health regulations of the destination country. Our experts will guide you in obtaining the appropriate certificates to comply with the legislation.

A station statement authorizes Neele-Vat Air to handle your inbound air cargo on your behalf. This document is a one-time statement that streamlines administrative processes and ensures efficient handling upon arrival.

At Neele-Vat Air, we ensure that your air freight documentation is complete and compliant with applicable regulations. Thanks to our expertise and international partnerships with IATA and WCA, your shipment will proceed quickly and without complications. Want to be sure your documentation is in order?
