From July 24 through August 13, the Games will take place. This includes the opening and closing ceremonies. The same goes for the period from Aug. 27 to Sept. 11, when the Paralympic Games will take place in the same city.

Starting July 1, huge crowds are expected in and around Paris. Several roads will be closed this entire period. This will continue until after the Paralympic Games. Due to the expected large number of visitors and transport shipments during this period, it is possible that our transport network, in transit or on their way to Paris and the surrounding area, may experience traffic jams and delays on the roads.
