Green initiatives

At Neele-Vat, we are committed to leading the transition to a greener and more sustainable world. One of the most important steps we have taken is the installation of solar panels at Port Park Pernis. This project is just one of many green initiatives we plan to expand and strengthen in the coming years. Project in Port Park Pernis with solar panels

At Port Park Pernis, we completed an important project in cooperation with Eneco. Here we installed 5,000 solar panels on the roof of our distribution center. The installed capacity of the solar panels is 2.2 MWp. The panels are expected to generate 2 million kWh of electricity annually. This generated electricity will be entirely purchased by Neele-Vat and used to make our logistics activities more sustainable. This project is an important step in reducing our carbon footprint and making our operations more sustainable.

By installing these solar panels, we are contributing to the broader energy transition. It helps us rely less on fossil fuels and promotes the use of renewable energy sources. These initiatives are not only good for the environment, but also provide long-term cost savings. We continue to invest in green technologies and adapt our operations to become a little more sustainable every day.
