Impression new DC Madoerastraat Maasvlakte

The new distribution center on the Maasvlakte, covering approximately 21,000 m², specializes in the storage of commercial goods and packaged hazardous materials. A total of approximately 12,500 m² is suitable for the storage of commercial goods, for which a sprinkler system will be installed. In addition, approximately 6,000 m² will be equipped for the storage of hazardous substances, in accordance with PGS15. The three compartments and the shipping area, with a total of nine docks, are protected by a CO₂ fire suppression system.

Drumming and filling on the Maasvlakte

A unique feature of the warehouse is the filling, packaging, blending, and storage of liquid chemical products, which are integrated into approximately 1,500 m² of the warehouse. It is expected that 75,000 to 100,000 metric tons of cargo will pass through the complex annually, some of which will be new cargo for Rotterdam.
