When Breakbulk Europe opens its doors in Rotterdam in June, the Steder team is not alone. It feels like coming home.
Steder, the project logistics specialists within the Neele Vat family, has been part of Rotterdam's logistics landscape since 1981. From Seattleweg 13, together with Neele Vat, the company has grown from a traditional freight forwarder to a team of logistics architects designing and realizing solutions for some of the world's most complex cargoes.
Breakbulk Europe, now in its fifth edition in Rotterdam Ahoy, brings together more than 11,000 professionals from the project cargo and breakbulk sector. For the Steder team, this is the time to reconnect with customers, partners and colleagues with whom they have worked for years, and to have conversations that you simply cannot replace via video call.
As part of the Neele Vat family, a network of more than 1,700 colleagues spread over more than 50 offices in 20 countries and accounting for a combined turnover of €770 million, Steder offers a unique combination. A practical, hands on mentality of a specialist, supported by the strength and reach of a global logistics organization.
This year's focus is on Steder's growing capabilities in project cargo, such as:
- Global project logistics via Antonov air charters.
- Heavy-lift crane transports and specialized reel handling.
- Own outdoor storage facilities specifically equipped for heavy cargo.
Kevin van Pelt, Michiel Mak, Vincent van Gestel and Julia Bastunkaya are representing Steder at the booth. If you are attending Breakbulk Europe 2026, feel free to drop by for a cup of coffee and a good chat.
