Lean & Green Award for Neele-Vat Logistics
Neele-Vat Logistics received the Lean & Green Award on November 10, 2011, as the first truly Rotterdam-based logistics service provider, in the Nieuwe Kerk in The Hague. They received this award for committing to reduce their CO2 emissions by at least 20% within 5 years. Neele-Vat Logistics puts strength to the phenomenon of "sustainability" in logistics.
Neele-Vat Logistics now also established in Romania
Neele-Vat Logistics, one of the larger logistics service providers in the Rotterdam region, opened a new branch in Oradea, Romania as of March 1, 2011: Neele-Vat Logistics srl. Traffic to and from the two Balkan countries Romania and Bulgaria has grown spectacularly in recent years. With this new branch Neele-Vat Logistics will be able to optimally serve the Romanian and Bulgarian import and export market to and from Western Europe. The other branches are located in Rotterdam Hoogvliet, Rotterdam Botlek, Amsterdam, Zeebrugge and Moscow.
First operating company Neele-Vat Logistics AEO certified
Neele Warehousing BV - part of Neele-Vat Logistics - has been officially certified by Dutch Customs as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO). On November 25, Customs handed out the combined "Customs Simplification and Security" certificate on the spot at Neele-Vat Logistics. With this, Customs marks Neele Warehousing BV as a safe and reliable company.
New branch in Belgium
Neele-Vat Logistics, one of the larger logistics service providers in the Rotterdam region, has opened a new branch in Zeebrugge as of September 1, 2010: Neele-Vat Logistics bvba. Traffic in the port of Zeebrugge has grown spectacularly in recent years. With this new branch Neele-Vat Logistics seizes its opportunity to optimally serve the Belgian and French import and export market. The other branches of Neele-Vat Logistics are located in Rotterdam Hoogvliet, Rotterdam Botlek, Amsterdam and Moscow.
Neele-Vat Logistics permanent logistics partner Van Houtum B.V.
Van Houtum B.V. - producer of hygienic paper and leader in Corporate Social Responsibility - has entered into a multi-year contract with one of the larger independent logistics service providers in the Rotterdam region: Neele-Vat Logistics. Until May 2013, Neele-Vat Logistics will handle all transports of finished products to and from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Norway and Sweden for Van Houtum B.V. as the sole party.
One brand name for all Neele operating companies
The big orange 'N' adorns the distribution center in the Gadering industrial zone in the Port of Rotterdam. Formerly the 'N' of Neele, it now stands for Neele-Vat Logistics. The family business has achieved tremendous growth over the past five years and therefore comes with one brand name and one uniform appearance.
