Neele-Vat , a long-standing logistics partner of Van Houtum B.V.

Van Houtum B.V.—a manufacturer of hygiene paper and a leader in Corporate Social Responsibility—has entered into a multi-year contract with one of the larger independent logistics service providers in the Rotterdam region: Neele-Vat. Until May 2013, Neele-Vat will be the sole provider handling all shipments of finished products for Van Houtum B.V. to and from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Norway, and Sweden.

This is based on the positive experiences of recent years. By signing this agreement, the current collaboration will be further strengthened. Neele-Vat contributes to Van Houtum’s strategic focus by integrating sustainable business practices into its operational processes.

For 75 years, Van Houtum has been an independent manufacturer of hygiene paper and a leader in Corporate Social Responsibility. With approximately 190 employees, Van Houtum produces 45,000 metric tons of tissue paper annually. The headquarters and both production sites are located in Swalmen, in the municipality of Roermond. Annual revenue amounts to €60 million. Products and services are supplied exclusively to the business-to-business market through, among others, cleaning companies and specialty wholesalers to various segments such as corporate offices, hospitality, recreation, hospitals, schools, and industry. Under the Satino Black brand name, Van Houtum produces Cradle to Cradle Silver-certified hygiene paper.
