Neele-Vat combines groupage transport to Spain with sustainability by consolidating smaller shipments from different customers. This allows for more efficient use of available cargo space and helps reduce the number of individual transport trips. Through our road transport network, we organize groupage shipments to Spanish regions such as Catalonia, Madrid, Andalusia, and the Basque Country.
The transport process begins with the registration and pickup of your goods. Subsequently, shipments with similar destinations and delivery times are combined whenever possible. After consolidation, the goods are typically transported via France to Spain and then distributed to the recipients.
By consolidating multiple smaller shipments into a single truck, each customer does not need to reserve an entire vehicle separately. This can contribute to a better load factor and a more efficient use of transport capacity.
Route planning also plays an important role. By coordinating loading locations, delivery addresses, and transport frequencies, unnecessary kilometers and empty runs can be minimized. This takes into account available capacity, traffic conditions, and desired delivery times.
Modern vehicles and, where available, alternative fuels can further influence environmental performance. Actual CO₂ emissions depend, among other factors, on distance, vehicle technology, load factor, and any transshipment points. Groupage therefore does not automatically result in lower emissions for every shipment.
Neele-Vat helps you balance transportation costs, delivery frequency, and sustainability goals. Groupage is particularly beneficial for companies that regularly ship smaller consignments to Spain and do not require a full truckload.
