GMP+ Transport
If, as a company, you transport animal food, logically, strict regulations apply to this, just as with the transport of food for people. This applies to animal feed but also to related products. Consider, for example, animal fats intended for use in animal feed.
GMP+
GMP+ is a feed certification you must meet as a carrier before you are allowed to transport animal feed. GMP stands for Goods Manufacturing Practice, or good manufacturing practice. To guarantee feed safety, the regulations for transport by road, rail and expedition are laid down in the GMP+ standard B4 Transport.
The GMP+ B4 Transport standard includes specific requirements for cleaning transport equipment, preventing cross-contamination, and tracking loads. The goal is to ensure that animal feeds are safe and free of contaminants that could harm animal health. Companies that achieve this certification demonstrate their commitment to maintaining high quality standards and following best practices in the production and transportation of animal feed.
