Through a combination of fixed corridors, project planning and sector-specific expertise, Neele-Vat ensures smooth deliveries of construction materials and machinery to Italy.
- Daily departures and fixed routes
Neele-Vat maintains daily transport connections between the Netherlands, Belgium and northern and central Italy.
Important construction corridors are:
- Lombardy - Milan, Bergamo, Brescia
- Emilia-Romagna - Bologna, Modena
- Veneto - Verona, Vicenza, Padua
- Lazio - Rome
The average transit time is 48 to 72 hours, depending on destination and service level.
- Cross-docking and consolidation of construction shipments
In Rotterdam, Venlo and Antwerp, shipments are merged into project loads. This prevents unnecessary trips and reduces costs. Construction materials from different suppliers can be bundled for one delivery to the construction site.
- Project planning and time window deliveries
Each construction delivery is scheduled based on the construction phase and exact delivery time. Through the Neele-Vat customer portal, contractors and project managers can track deliveries and adjust time windows.
- Specialized construction trailers and equipment
Neele-Vat has an extensive fleet of vehicles for construction logistics:
- Truck-mounted forklifts (Moffetts) for direct unloading,
- Crane trailers for construction sites without unloading facilities,
- Open trailers for steel, wood and precast elements,
- Mega-trailers for high loads,
- Low-loaders for machinery and structures.
- ADR and temperature-controlled transport
For construction chemicals (such as adhesives, coatings or paint), Neele-Vat offers ADR-certified transport. Temperature-sensitive construction products can also be transported in conditioned trailers.
- Local cooperation in Italy
In Italy, Neele-Vat works with established logistics partners for last-mile deliveries, warehousing and construction site distribution. Thus, deliveries in urban areas (such as Milan or Turin) can be made with smaller vehicles, fitting within ZTL zones.
