What is the best way to perform a gas measurement of a container? What are the risks involved in working with fumigated containers? And what about cyber security in the port?
These are just some of the questions that will be at the center of the third 'Chemistry on Tour' of the chemical chain that will take place at the new premises of Neele-Vat Logistics. Neele-Vat Logistics is one of the larger logistics service providers in the Rotterdam region. Services focus on transport, warehousing, ocean freight and air freight.

On behalf of Neele-Vat, there will be a lecture on best practices with container gas measurement. Professor of toxicology Martin van den Berg will discuss the risks of exposure to toxic substances, where the subject of container gassing will also be discussed. In addition, Ward Veltman, Cyber Security & Risk Officer at FERM, will explain the port cyber resilience program: a public-private partnership to create awareness about cyber threats. FERM is part of the Port Cyber Resilience Program, an initiative of Deltalinqs, Municipality of Rotterdam, Port of Rotterdam and the police.

Neele-Vat will host the event on April 3, '20, at its new complex at 10 Madoerastraat on the Maasvlakte.
