Interview Cuno Vat at Multimodal 2022

Cuno Vat is the CEO of the Rotterdam-based family business Neele-Vat. The freight forwarder has repeatedly made headlines over the past year due to a number of notable acquisitions in the logistics sector. During Multimodaal 2022, he spoke with NT journalist John Versleijen about how a Dutch family-owned business can still survive in the freight forwarding world, which is increasingly dominated by consolidations.

During the interview, several topics were discussed. Among other things, the COVID-19 crisis and the current situation in Ukraine were addressed, and expectations for ocean freight rates in light of recent developments in China were also discussed.
