Best Relationship,
As you may know, construction work is taking place on the Haringvliet Bridge and the Heinenoord Tunnel on the A29 in both directions during the months of June, July, and August. Although these roadworks on the A29 are never carried out simultaneously, there is a continuous closure during these months, which complicates traffic flow on the A29.

Effects of road closure on A29
The closure will affect the following roads: A15, A16, A17 and the N57, N59, N215 and N217....
From Neele-Vat we will do everything possible to continue to serve you as best as possible during this period, but we also ask for your understanding if services unfortunately run slightly differently than planned. Rijkswaterstaat advises you to take at least 1 to 1.5 hours extra travel time into account.
Direct consequences for you
Shipments to and from the islands of South Holland, Zeeland and North Brabant will be delayed. Shipments going south (via the A16 to Belgium) may also be delayed.
What can you do to ensure the smoothest possible shipment?
- Place your orders in a timely manner during this period.
- Approach us by e-mail as much as possible.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. For the most up-to-date information on closures on the A29, please visit www.rijkswaterstaat.nl/heinenoordtunnel or www.rijkswaterstaat.nl/haringvlietbrug.
