Low Oxygen: effective treatment without chemicals
Low-oxygen treatment is a form of fumigation that does not use chemically harmful pesticides. By controlled reduction of the oxygen content, an atmosphere is created in which insects cannot survive.
As a result, the treatment is an environmentally friendly alternative to chemical fumigation. No chemical residues are left behind, and the treatment is suitable for goods where it is important that the original properties are preserved. Organic remains organic.

Heat Treatment (HT)
Since 2015, heat treatment has been the standard treatment under ISPM 15, in which the wood is heated for at least 30 minutes to a core temperature of 56 °C. This method has been proven effective in eliminating harmful organisms.
ISPM 15: the certification mark for safe wood
Every piece of wood treated in accordance with the ISPM 15 guidelines is marked with the ISPM 15 logo and the country of origin. This marking serves as certification that the wood is safe for export and import and enables rapid identification by customs officials and inspectors.
Low Oxygen Treatment
In a Low Oxygen treatment, the oxygen content surrounding the goods is significantly reduced for a specific period. Insects cannot survive in this controlled atmosphere. The treatment is suitable for combating an existing insect infestation but can also be used preventively.
