Transit times to and from Turkey
Neele-Vat provides international road transport to and from Turkey, a key trading partner that connects Europe and Asia. From the Netherlands, we transport goods to economic hubs such as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, and Gaziantep, as well as to other destinations throughout the country.
Depending on the shipment, we offer full truckloads (FTL), LTL, and groupage. With four departures per week for FTL and LTL, we provide regular transport options. In our planning, we take into account customs formalities, border controls, and local traffic restrictions.
| Shipment Type | What It Entails | Transit time | Explanation |
|---|---|---|---|
| FTL | (Nearly) full truck, drives straight through | Approximately 7 days | Direct transport without consolidation; dependent on route, border controls, and delivery destination. |
| LTL | LTL shipments starting at 3 pallets | 1–3 business days | Combined transport; consolidation and onward distribution affect transit times. |
| Groupage | Small shipment, fewer than 3 pallets | 3–4 business days | Bundled via cross-dock; additional transshipment slightly extends the transit time. |
| Departure Days for FTL/LTL | Frequency of full truckloads and LTL shipments | 4 times a week | Four weekly departure options based on current transport information. |
| Time-Sensitive Delivery | Delivery at an agreed-upon time | To be determined | Depending on the destination, customs clearance, and available capacity. |
| Transport to Istanbul | Deliveries to Turkey’s main economic hub | Depending on the shipment type | Traffic congestion and local access restrictions may affect planning. |
| Transport to Ankara | Deliveries to the Turkish capital | Depending on the shipment type | The delivery location and subsequent distribution also help determine the duration. |
