Last week, our new location at the Rotterdam City Terminal was officially completed. This marks a significant milestone, clearly demonstrating that Neele-Vat continues to grow steadily.

In detail

To begin with, this new facility covers an area of over 27,000 square meters. In addition, the building features over 1,000 square meters of office space. Furthermore, the facility is equipped with 40 loading docks, allowing trucks to be loaded and unloaded quickly.

In addition, with the addition of a charging station for electric trucks, drivers can charge their trucks while loading or unloading. This allows them to depart for their next destination with a fully charged battery.

Furthermore, the new location at the City Terminal has received GPR 8.0 certification. This demonstrates that Neele-Vat takes sustainability extremely seriously. Moreover, it shows that the company is actively working to make its operations more sustainable.

Ruud Vat on the delivery

“It’s especially wonderful to see how much commitment there is to this project. I’d specifically like to express my admiration for the young, enthusiastic people—not only from Van der Heijden (the construction company), but certainly our own colleagues as well. It is precisely this young talent that demonstrates they are both ambitious and driven. In doing so, they are making a significant contribution to our successful future.”

Official opening

As planned, the new location will officially open at the beginning of the new year. At this time, the final touches are being made to a number of details, after which customers’ goods will ultimately be moved to the City Terminal.
